Rocking the lake
Awesome amp. I like the fact that I can drive two sets of speakers with independent controls. I have my pre-amp/equalizer provide two separate line-in feeds which allow me to drive the tower speakers or the in-boat speakers with separate volumes. This allows me to turn the volume down on the in-boat speakers while blasting the tower speakers.The amp allows me to drive several in-boat speakers in parallel using the 2 ohm outputs. I actually wired six 4 ohm in-boat speakers ( 3 left, 3 right) in a combination of 2 in series and 1 in parallel. That gave me a 2.67 ohm load on the 'front' output channels. Meanwhile I ran the four 4 ohm tower speakers ( 2 left, 2 right) in parallel. That gave me a 2 ohm load on the 'back' output channels. No problems for this amp.I then added the Wet Sounds 420 pre-amp / equalizer with independent volume control for the 'front' and 'back' speakers. Works great.This WS Syn 4 can really drive those speakers.Scott
