Dell OptiPlex 7060 Micro Form Factor Desktop Computer Intel Core 8th Gen i7-8700T 2.40GHz 6-Core CPU 32GB DDR4-2666MHz Memory 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD Windows 10 Pro

I needed a Dell Micro Form factor computer for a special project. I wanted a refurbished i7 or better. This one is perfect. It's advertised as an i7-8700. When I got it, it was an i7-9700! It's fast and it qualfies for the Win 11 upgrade. Exactly what I needed, and a better processor than I expected. So far, everything is great!

These are recertified units, I can not recommend a purchase unless you know your tech stuff.There are a few gotchas here with this listing. When I received it I found that WiFi and Bluetooth are not based on the Dell M.2 WiFi card, but rather a pair of cheap USB devices. These consume 2 of the USB ports and have a limited range. I have had to order an M.2 Wireless card.Hyperthreading and Virtualization had been turned off, it is on by default when Dell ships this unit. So it was not reset back to factory default. I discovered this when I saw that there were only 6 threads running when it should be 12.The drive tray to install a 2.5" SATA drive is MIA, so I have had to order one. The base to stand the unit vertical is also missing, but I am not placing the unit in that position so I don't have to find one of those.There were no installed Dell support apps, which indicates they were either stripped from the OS image used or did not use the proper Dell OS image to restore windows.The installed BIOS was some sort of Beta. I had crazy wired networking issues when testing and after a day of troubleshooting, I was about to reinstall Windows when I got an alert from the Dell software I had installed that the BIOS had critical issues. I had to flash the BIOS to get wired networking to work properly.If you know tech and looking for a good machine that happens to be in a Micro form factor, I think this is one of the best buys going at the price I got it for. It more than meets my needs. It was listed at just about half the price of a new unit.

I have purchased two OptiPlex 7060, each with 32GB Ram, 1 Terabytes of SSD internal disk space. I then purchased a 2TB HDD that also fit into each of the 7060 enclosures. Given how well the first OptiPlex worked, six months later I purchased the second. The first was $1400, the second was $1300.I am extremely pleased with both of these. They are extremely small and extremely fast. I greatly appreciate the Dell online proactive service that alerts me that it is time to update drivers, etc.

Nice peppy machine…has a nice balance of components that’ll help me straddle the existing and upcoming….just hope it holds up for the next few. It is after all recycled however nicely done.

We opened the computer box and almost missed the computer because it was soo small. However, it is now the most powerful computer in my house. I highly recommend this system.

It's a lot of power in a very small package. The wireless connections are flawless and the fan is totally silent. I'm very pleased

This computer is fast, yet very small and very quiet. The fan is never noisy and seldom audible at all.
