KAUKKO Vintage Casual Canvas and Leather Rucksack Backpack

UPDATE 5/29/16: After my initial review of the product I was contacted by Kaukko, they apologized for the issues with the bag and immediately tried to remedy the situation. They were very polite and explained that once in a while an item may make it by inspection when it shouldn't. Kaukko assured me they would replace the faulty bag with a proper one. Two days later I recieved the same bag design with the new color I was asked to choose. After a week and a half of use in my daily routines everything is perfect, there are no problems whatsoever with my new bag and I am very pleased. I will gladly recommend this company and it's products to family and friends, any company willing to personally reach out and address customer issues of products due to no fault of the customer is a godsend. This shows honesty and care of quality. This bag has all the compartments I need, my laptop fits perfectly inside with its case on, and my sweater does as well. Keys and small tool pockets are available for use inside as well as outside the bag. Overall perfect for my needs. Should I need a another style of bag I will first look at Kaukko to make a purchase for my needs. The bag feels sturdy and durable. I am now a life long customer of the brand and am thankful to them for taking responsibility and resolving the issues I had._______________________________________________________________________________________________________________Zippers broke after 3 days of very light use. I literally had a water bottle, and a hoodie in it, opened the zippers just to see how they moved, wouldn't close after that. And a pocket opened at the bottom so I can't store anything small in it. Waste of money.

This was a real find. Has enough storage for everything including my wife's 9mm concealed carry. Well made. Looked at stitching very carefully and it was all very well done. This backpack is very sturdy and will last about forever. Sprayed with Scotch Guard for best liquid resistance. The price is incredible considering what you get. Very stylish. Highly recommend.8/2/19- Have found over time the zippers fall apart. Very disappointed. With stripped zippers, bag is useless.

Really durable bag, is a good size for carrying items for yourself, like beach towel and some smaller items for a hike or beach day. I wish the side pockets were a little bit wider, but do a good job in carrying small items.

I bought this bag when I started university about three years ago and it's still going strong! I will admit it has a few tears in it at this point but I don't take good care of it at all/have traveled all over the world with it so I can excuse a bit of damage. It's also large enough for my 15" laptop with a ton of room left which is awesome

Love the material, wish pockets were bigger but a lot fits in the back pack, not bulky at all !

I enjoy this backpack. It's does a great job at holding my workout clothes and the small amount of things I take to and from work. However, I have already had one of the leather strips on the buckle piece break off. I use the pack rather gently so it's strange that this happened so soon after purchase. I have also read a lot of reviews saying small pieces break off this pack often. Additionally the side pockets are just too small for most things except a phone charger.That being said I still enjoy the look and functionality of this backpack for my purposes, especially for the price.

Abuse it at the airport: had to check in the bag. It handle well nothing break or snap. Barely fit dell 15 inch laptop. Overall good bag.
