Vivid color with a basic nutrition formula
We've used this food for our pond goldfish and koi for three years. It gives our fish vivid color with a basic nutrition formula. In our Michigan climate, pond fish are dormant through the sub-freezing winters. Having had a diet of this food the previous year, all our fish reappear each spring with the same deep and vibrant colors. They go for this food eagerly. It maintains their color throughout the active season, and brings out great color in new spawn also. We feed them with this and Blue Ridge Fish Food Pellets [2lb] Koi and Goldfish Growth Formula, Mini Floating Pellet, Balanced Diet (also available from Amazon) simultaneously.

Good food for bigger fish.
The bigger fish enjoy eating this food, but some of the smaller comet goldfish have a difficult time eating it. I would estimate that any fish over 4 inches can eat this food without problem. The floating food is a must have for pond owners as it prevents uneaten food from sinking to the bottom and decomposing.
