First build-homerun
My daughter introduced me to mechanical keyboards. I love that they are serviceable (“back in my day we didn’t throw everything out…”). I don’t like the clicks sound however. I used Akko Penguin silent tactile switches (and hand lubed them!) and Ducky Nazca triple shot keycaps. Wow is this a nice keyboard. Solid, heavy, compact size with num pad. Silent tactile. Looks fabulous. Love it!

Amazing frame
I always wanted a solid keyboard, but was hesitant to purchase until I saw this brand and its review and tried it. Did not regret it at all! Pretty decent weight in my hand, but nothing crazy. Still using it when typing this review!

Overall amazing quality
Great keyboard. Overall amazing quality.+Price, This keyboard is a great price for what you get. It is the cheapest barebones 1800/96% keyboard.+Quality, Surprisingly very high quality. For the price I wasn't expecting something quiet this nice. Nocomplaints.+Software, The glorious core software is great. Allows you to program macros, change led colors, remap keys. Very useful.+Support, Glorious has some of the best support around.some cons- screw in stabilizers don't seem to fit without modification, Even the gsv2 from glorious. I tried with 2 different gmmk 2 pros. Both had the same issue. Random stabilizers are stuck no matter what I did. I think the top frame interferes with how the stabilizer lines up making it bind and get stuck bottomed out.-LED colors are slightly off. The sidelight led won't display yellow. It has a very obvious green tint. My gmmk pro does not have this issue.Overall I really like this keyboard. Was easy to build/work on and came out great when finished.

Nice and weighty, LEDs leave something to be desired.
Pretty good build quality. This is my first (and last) custom keyboard, and I'm generally happy with this base. However, I absolutely hate the LED layout/design. I MUST have a backlit keyboard, and the lighting on this drives me nuts. It's super customizable but the performance is just awful. They're either too bright or too dim, per-key customization and lighting poorly bleeds into neighboring keys, and the software is slow and clunky. As a point of comparison, the Razer keyboard I'm coming from just stomps this into the dirt as far as lighting. All-in-all, I'm $200 into a keyboard trying something new and I have an arguably worse keyboard than my 6+ year old Razer Ornata Chroma. But it's okay because I can just buy more switches, more keycaps and another base and maybe have $400 in a keyboard that performs with pre-built $100 keyboard! Lol.

Amazing
Love everything about this bare bone keyboard! You can download a software to control the profiles and rgb settings, but you can also use kb shortcuts with the Fn key to do this (I saw this on a YT video). It’s my first time building my own kb so there’s a lot more to uncover in this niche, and I’m here for it. I will be taking it apart to mod though, so it’s nice that it comes wrapped in PE foam already. :) Also, there’s definitely some weight to it which overall, does give it a more quality-like feel.

GMMK 2 96 - Great hardware, Software not so much.
This board is great I have zero complaints. It can support 5 pin switches, and these are north side facing leds. If you already know what switches you are going to put in this board you cant beat the price. You will want to lubricate and tune the stabilizers, or just replace them altogether. To me the stock didn't sound/feel great stock. Aside from the stabilizers the board sounds great out of the box. The unit feels very solid, and the build quality is awesome. The software misses the mark completely. Glorious Core would not load at all. Normal troubleshooting yielded no results. Clean boot/compatibility modes/admin mode/uninstall/reinstall nothing really worked. Personally I would ditch the Glorious Core software and use QMK. I think its worth the time investment in learning how to use QMK with your GMMK2. If your Glorious Core experience was anything like mine it may be a lot less frustrating.

Great price
This keyboard surpassed my expectations. It’s much heavy than I thought it would be, it’s definitely worth the price.

Nice, with some minor flaws...
I bought this board because Glorious seems to be pretty popular amongst keyboard enthusiasts. After a lot of research, I decided to go with this as a budget option since I'm new to mechanical keyboards. The first board I got had issues right out of the box, one of the keys would not work, even after inserting multiple working switches. I returned it for a replacement, and the new board was fully functional. The sound quality is pretty decent, as the board as multiple layers of sound dampening built in. The stock stabilizers sound pretty bad though, very scratchy. Aside from that, building the board was pretty straightforward and easy. Overall, this is a great beginner keyboard for someone that wants to dip their toes into the mechanical keyboard pool.
