Works great
Ugreen is a trusted brand and that’s the reason went for it as it works as advertised.

Value for money, works as advertised.
Well, works as advertised. Was not able test the full 10Gbps as I don't have the hardware to push it. But I have used the tp-link uc300E network adapter to test the speeds, and I was able to achieve full speed on it so it's definitely usb 3.0.As said in the above page, unfortunately it works at full speed only when you connect the USBC device in one direction, so you need to reverse the direction of the USB-C cable.

NOT 10gbps USB3 but actually USB2 (480mbps). Shady marketing
The data transfer speed that is advertised is a massive lie and this makes the dongle completely useless. I have a 10gbps external SSD that has a type C (male) and I ran out of ports because I have lots of external drives so I decided to connect this. After noticing very slow speeds i decided to check the USB speed connection on Linux and realized that it's a 480mbps dongle. Moment I connected my SSD back into the thunderbolt port my SSD was performing as expected.TL;DR: Useeless because it's USB2 and NOT USB3 as advertised.
