My daughter LOVED IT!!! One of her favorites. Smaller than she thought it would be but did not matter at all. Great book!

Okay Tahereh, you’ve done it again. I can’t believe you gave me the opportunity to fall back into this world. And boy did we fall. Literally right into enemy territory.This book was fast-fast paced and action packed. It’s our same old loves from shatter me, but in a whole new environment. I don’t think you need to have read the Shatter Me series before this, but you’ll understand a lot of the characters more if you do.I can’t wait to watch James and Rosabelle’s complex relationship develop. There were so many crazy twists and turns I honestly have no idea where they’re going.I only have two complaints. First, there’s a seemingly important plot point at the end that felt like it was thrown on us with little development. I was kind of confused as to what was happening or why it mattered. I’m hoping that will be fleshed out in later books. But, second, why did Kenji seem like a caricature of himself. It felt like he was doing too much to fit the laid back funny nice guy role. I love Kenji he was perfect the way he was, we don’t need to change him 🫶Either way, I loved this and can’t wait for the next one.
