I bought this mainly to try deal with heavy limescale on my shower head. I tried it on the overflow drain in the bath first, I left it on for 5 minutes then gave a quick, light scrub with a scrubbing brush and was impressed with the result, another 5 minute treatment and scrub was enough to get rid of all the limescale. The showerhead has a lot more limescale and has had 4 applications and scrubs, it needs a few more applications but I think it's done a good job considering the age of the shower, it being fixed on the wall making it harder to clean and the level of limescale.

I ordered this, not expecting much as lots of products say they work and they don't.I tested this on my kitchen sink, left it a few mins then rinsed it off and it took all the limescale away. I have very hard water where I live and the toilet gets really bad.limescale so I thought I'd try it on that.... all underneath the rim where other products just drip down, this stayed in place and took about half the limescale away first time. The bottle does say if there's a lot of limescale then you may need to do it a few times which is fine. I was so impressed by this that I told my mum about it and ordered her a bottle. I'm moving house so got myself a 2nd bottle so I can take one to the other place and use it there and use the original bottle here .I havent left it on longer than 5 mins. I'd rather keep reapplying it than risk damaging anything.The mixture is a thick loop which is colourless, the brush is attached to the lid. If I was going to be picky, I wish the brush was bigger so you can put more on each time but that's just me wanting to rush things.I'd highly recommend this as IT ACTUALLY WORKS

Product works well on small areas of limescale. I used it on bathroom taps and shower head. Requires some patience and persistence on heavy deposits, e.g. London limescale. Took several applications and some scrubbing with an old toothbrush but it did the job eventually. No damage to chrome taps or plastic shower head. Recommended but several applications required for thick scaling.

Years ago when I used to work with a friend who was a cleaner she introduced me to this product. It worked just brilliantly especially on taps, plug and plug holes and the edge of the overflow. She always had a pot on hand and I eventually went out and bought my own for our home. Limescale (just hate the stuff) and it builds up before you know it so always upkeep the basins and taps now. I hadn't used this product for a few years because we had moved and the area we are now in doesn't have as much of a limescale problem.However we changed some taps and the hubby wanted to thoroughly clean them before replacing so I purchased this product knowing how well it worked. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. It works nowhere as well as it used to, I remember you would simply 'paint' it on using the brush in the lid and it used to foam/fizz on the limescale which you then left for a few minutes to do its thing and come back to wipe away. Well, it didn't do its fizzing magic at all and somewhat removed some tough limescale but just not fully. Bit of a let down. Either I got a faulty product or its not the same as it used to be.

I had a bit of lime scale forming on the bottom of my bathroom taps so wanted to get rid of it before it got too bad. Based on the good reviews I decided to try this. I’m very impressed with it. So it’s really easy to use. It comes with a brush under the lid so you carefully brush it onto the lime scale and leave it for about 15 minutes. It doesn’t drip so it’s nice and tidy. You should wear protective gloves to protect your skin. You then rinse it off ( I used my shower hose but you could use a pre prepared jug of water) and the lime scale comes loose. I gave it a rub over with a soft bathroom scourer. It did leave a bit behind but I repeated the treatment over 3 days and it all cleaned off. Now my taps weren’t too bad so I can’t say how well it would work on badly affected areas. Price wise it was worth every penny to get my taps looking their best.

Does a really good job getting rid of tough stains. It does take quite a few applications but eventually does work, would recommend and it’s a good price.

This has got rid of horrid limescale in my sink. I have tried bicarbonate of soda, vinegar, bleach etc etc but nothing worked. This product is easy to use with a brush attached to the lid. However, I had to use it 4 times, leaving for a few hours each time to completely remove the limescale. I would recommend it as it does do the job.
