I’ve been using the Amazon Basics 5-Blade MotionSphere Razor for a few weeks now, and I’m very impressed with its performance. The razor provides a smooth, close shave with minimal irritation, and the 5 blades glide effortlessly over my skin. The dual lubrication strips are a nice touch, helping to reduce friction and providing a more comfortable shave. I also like the precision beard trimmer that’s built into the back of the handle—perfect for touching up sideburns and trimming around my beard. The handle feels sturdy and comfortable to hold, making it easy to control while shaving. The razor is easy to clean, and the two included cartridges have lasted longer than I expected. For the price, this is an excellent razor that performs as well as more expensive brands. Highly recommend it!

For too long, I have been paying the brand-name razor company exorbitant prices for triple blades. I really don't see the need for five blades and this razor and its head actually fell heavy. Still, it glides around my face easily and did a great job of shaving at half the price. I will be ordering again.

Pro: Truly a great value compared to Gillett or other expensive multi blade razors. The handle and blades do an adequate job and are reasonably well made. A reasonably close shave even with sensitive skin. Huge cost savings.Con: Handle overall make is good but lacking compared to Gillett. Blades are not as sharp, effective or long lasting as Gillett.Having said that the Amazon product works well and I will not go back to the more expensive name brand.

I needed to shave for an appointment so I purchased this due to the price point.I have been a gillette man my entire life. Any other brand of razor I have used always felt scratchy and the blade sharpness didn't last past 3 uses, but I figured this was a one time thing.I forgot to order shaving cream since I haven't really shaved in well over a year. I used just bar soap and water. This was one of the smoothest shaves I have had. Normally, I reshave certain areas multiple times against the grain to achieve the best result. With this razor, I only went once against the grain and didn't need to repeat. My skin wasn't irritated afterwards.The trimming razor is a little scratchy on the neck area, but to be fair it was working with 2 inch old man thick white hairs.The main body feels sturdy, easy to grip, and has a positive weighty feel.I will keep shaving and edit later with a durability update.

Ok I am seriously impressed with this one. I had no expectations going in as I thought it would a just noch above the Dollar store products. But Amazon proved me wrong.The razor is fantastic. It glides across the contours of my face and I dont feel any drag or pull. Gives a perfect clean shave with no effort or irritated skin. The only other razor which has come this close to giving a comfortable smooth experience has been my Gillete Labs which I have used for the past 2 years.Amazon really outdid themselves with this one. Bringing quality products to people at affordable prices.

Not a bad razor for the price. Not as good as Gillette, but the price overrides the lower quality shave.

I like to shave in the shower with just bathing soap as shaving cream. I’ve been doing this for over 50 years and I’ve been quite happy with it. I recently moved and someone else packed my razor and I couldn’t find it, neither the handle or the blades. I ordered some stuff and was unhappy so I just ordered more. I finally found what I needed, a set of 5 blades and a handle that accommodated the blades quite well. Now I only shave once or twice a week and usually my beard is kind of long when I get around to shaving. I found that the 5 blades do the job quite nicely. And they do a good job for many reshaves. I’m a happy camper!

As many, I wanted to compare this product to the more popular Gillette lineup of disposable razor blades.These did a very comparable job for the first shave but quickly had a diminished performance there after at least compared to the more popular and expensive brands. So, comfory and quality vs price and performance. If it's affordable, I would use the more expensive brands that have an initial higher price but, lasts longer with more shaving opportunities.Give these a try. It's definitely worth the asking price.
