Don’t hesitate to buy these!
I’ve never reviewed a product the day that I received it, but these are so good that I figured they deserved special attention. These sprouted pili nuts are delicate and delicious, with a rich, velvety texture that’s somewhat reminiscent of macadamia nuts (but even smoother), and they have a much fresher, somewhat milder, taste. All the flavors I received are absolutely delicious, and I know they’re not gonna last long - but the ones coated in raw cacao, PLEASE! I’m not a “raw cacao” kinda gal, but these are like eating dessert! Don’t hesitate to splurge a little bit and try these delicious snacks. I’m already thinking of what recipes (both sweet and savory) I can use these in. How is it that these aren’t already a huge snack item in the U.S.?

These are awesome and good for you.
These are excellent, but too expensive for regular purchase. Maybe for my birthday next time. They really are excellent and good for you too.

Very rich, buttery snack, but possible side effect.
I like these pili nuts. They are very rich and buttery in flavor. The most comparable basic nut flavor to these is probably the macadamia. However these are more tender, oily, and smooth. The variety flavor pack I think is probably somewhat overkill, as the other flavors largely overwhelm the natural mild nuttiness of the pili nut. The flavors are by no means unpleasant, but I don't think they add much to the nuts, but they do seem to enhance the inherent oily nature of the product which can be a bit off putting for some.Cost-wise, these are obviously not cheap and anybody looking for an inexpensive snack may as well go look elsewhere. And they're probably not worth the price to taste for most, all things considered. I think this product really is meant more for the curious and open minded eater who understands that you can't expect to buy unusual and exotic foods from around the world for the price of common produce at the supermarket. Complaining about the price of this overall is just silly. Yes, with enough looking around I'm sure you can find it for less money, but if the occasional expense is really that much to blow the budget then you really should be looking elsewhere for nut-like foods. So let's address that possible side effect I was talking about. Bottom line, eating too many in one sitting is likely to have a gentle laxative effect. Pili nuts are very high in oil and there's a good chance that you will realize this in a day or so. We're not talking about some violent, earth shattering event here unlike a handful of prunes or a bag of sugar-free Haribos, but there is a good chance that you will notice a difference and if you're one of those who really found them delicious and down a whole large bag, odds are you will REALLY notice a difference. So I strongly recommend that you start with no more than a few small pieces and see how your body reacts the next day before really committing to eating a decent quantity in one sitting. They're tasty, but I really do feel moderation will be important until you know how your body reacts to them.

Looking for a keto friendly nut? This it the one
On keto I was looking for a healthy nut that wouldn't take me out of ketosis but tastes great and I found it! The assortment provides a great variety of different flavors. They are my go to nuts now.

Not what I expected
Not what I expected in a nut. They are soft rather than crunchy. They don't have much flavor other than what seasoning they put on them. Can't eat very many as they are rich. I do like that they are low carb and nutritious. I ended up putting melted Lily's chocolate chips on them for a treat.

Way better than expected
I've never been a big nut person. I like flavored peanuts or heavily salted ones, but in general that's about it. They get stuck in my teeth and I just cant deal with it.I seen these on an episode of Shark Tank and the way they were described sounded good, a buttery flavor and good for you so I thought why not.I ordered online that night and they arrived a few days later.I hot the sample pack. So far my favorite two are the sea salt and something ones and the turmeric and black pepper. My biggest concern was cost vs quantity at first but after eating 4 or 5 if each flavor I felt full and was goo till my next meal. They also sent a sample freebie pack of some with raw cacao and I thought it was going to be bad because who likes cacao or cocoa powder in a raw form, but surprisingly one or two of these satisfies a sweet tooth.I will be definitely ordering more in a month or so whe. These are gone.

Bland, mushy too oily
If you hate greasy food like i do, avoid these. They are not crunchy, they are not flavorful, they are extremely oily and the seasoning does not stick to the nuts. The best flavor was the cacao imo and i would never buy them again. Maybe if they baked these instead of frying them? Picture a bland mushy macadamia nut. No thanks.
