It's Alright
I'm not a chef by any means, so take this review with a grain of salt (pun?). It's okay. It's a knife. I wish it had a sleeve for when it's stored. I found another knife that felt better in my hand, so this became a backup.

Love this paring knife
Love this knife. It's pretty, it's sharp, it's compact and I like the matte finish on the handle. It's a great starter knife for my 13 year old nephew who's just getting into cooking

Best blade to date from a price/performance standpoint
5 knives in one reviewUnder $30Fukep - 3.5" pairing knifeUnder $20Imarku - 3.5" pairing knifePaudin - 3.5" pairing knifeUnder $15Tuo Osprey - 3.5" pairing knifeTuo Falcon - 3.5" pairing knifeCompared to my Shun 3.5" pairing knifePaudin - End cap not flush with blade and had multiple metal burrs. Ordered it 2 times, both had the same end cap issue. One handle had split. Blade was heavy compared to handle and felt off balance. Sharp out of the box, but did not cut anything as it was Returned prior to cutting.Tuo Osprey - very large pairing knife. Felt awkward in the hand. Probably a personal preference, but was not for me. Sharp out of the box. Did not cut anything as it was Returned prior to cutting.Tuo Falcon - decent weight. Looked good. But the pins/ rivets in the handle were not flush with the wood. The edge of the rivet was sharp and made it uncomfortable / difficult to use. Sharp out of the box. Did not cut anything as it was Returned prior to cutting.Imarku - handle felt good, slightly heavier than the shun 85g compared to 62g. Blade length good, handle length is good. Sharp out of the box. Cut as easily as the shun. Time will tell how often this needs to be Sharpened. Kept this one.Fukep - looks great. All of my other knives have wood handles so the polymer is fun. Most comparable to the shun from a handle design. Good handle feel. Good weight 72g compared to 62g. Sharp out of the box, but had massive resistance during cutting. Almost felt like the blade had a scandi or convex grind. Aka, like trying to cut an apple in half with an axe. Returned.Overall. The Imarku blade was the best from a price/ performance standpoint.
