Thin, crisp, and don’t leak
Love these! I’m using them in my moleskine journal with super thin paper and they work the best of the 10 others I’ve tried so far. My friend brought me back one from Japan and I fell in love. Super expensive on Amazon vs getting them in Japan (she laughed so much when I told her how much I paid for them ) but if it’s the only way I can get them I’ll pay for it!They have a very even ink flow, and you get a nice scratchy sensory feel when writing with them. Think the exact opposite of a Pilot Gel pen. You feel every word you write and it actually helps my handwriting not flow together and look much neater. They don’t last very long from my experience, one lasts me a couple months. And one just stopped working while half full of ink. So while not the best investment they’re definitely worth a try! I’ll be buying more for my new expensive addiction (sigh)

My favorite pens, expensive
These Mujis are my favorite disposable pens I’ve ever used. They’re not flashy, they don’t have a ton of useless stuff all over them, they’re basic, well built writing utensils. I like a fine tip with any writing utensil because I have small handwriting and I think it looks cleaner. I have these in .5 and .37 or whatever it is. Both of them are very fine and the rollerball never clogs and impedes ink flow, as is the case with many fine tip pens. They feel great in the hand. I am not a fan of built in grips on pens or pencils. I prefer a bare pen. I have more control over a pen when there is no bulky grip that ultimately does nothing to reduce fatigue. These look great, they write great, and they feel great.I’ve been using them for about a year now and most of the writing I do with them is at work (signatures) and at home/on the gun range. I use them on the range in conjunction with a Rite-In-The-Rain pad for recording data. They work excellently on those pads. I haven’t tested how the ink functions when it becomes wet, but it isn’t waterproof ink, so it probably will wash away and become illegible if it gets wet like any other pen. If you want your notes to be waterproof, use a pencil. That isn’t a priority for me. These are my favorite pens available, they’re expensive and you don’t get many of them for what you pay, but I believe they’re worth it completely.

I’m probably a lucky customer
This’s my first order of these MUJI gel pens set. It was in my wish list so long time because I saw many upset reviews but I really wanted to try them. The package took almost 3 weeks to arrive me because it was imported from Japan, I guess.I don’t have any problems with the pen quality. There were 3 pens in the package as described. The pens had plastic seals on the tips to protect them. They write so smooth even the ball points are 0.38 mm which are very small. I opened and tried all of them. They create very thin lines which I personally prefer. The ink is truly black, very intense and it dries quickly. I like it. There isn’t any bleeding spots on the back pages (I use Hobonichi Tomoe River Paper which is very thin; 52 gsm). The pens look minimal . I also like it that way.Only one con is that the pen bodies are smooth and there aren’t any rubber grips on them that causes the pens slippery. I have to hold the pen harder while I’m writing and that causes cramp on my hand and fingers.I hope MUJI fix this issue.

Not as great as I hoped
I was expecting these pens to be like heaven with how much people have always raved about them. Don't get me wrong, they are good pens, they're not over the top, but they're better than basic I guess you would say. I do like the way they write, I don't have a much of a slop to my writing when using these pens. Which is shocking because I have to tell you, these pens are not comfortable when writing for any extended perior of time. For short letters, or simple notes they're 20/10 but for longer writing projects...I'd stick to something with a cusion. One other notable highlight is that the ink doesnt skip near like most other brands. It is very smooth writing, doesn't just stop laying ink for no reason. Downside if the ink, is does not last very long. I went through one whole pen in a matter of about a week. That's too quick. With as much writing as I do, buying these pens as my reqular, would bankrupt me in a month. I do think the price is too high
