Thick O-rings for typists who hit the keys hard
I have been told that I tend to "attack" the keyboard when I really get going and my WPM goes up. I bought a blue switch keyboard to try out (moving from a brown-style keyboard). The noise didn't bother me for the actuation, but rather the finger fatigue and noise at the bottoming out that bothered me more. Looking into it, O-rings appeared to be the solution.I went with a thicker O-ring to reduce travel distance, as well as get a "bounce" at the end of the keystroke. I also went with clear for my RGB effects. I am pleasantly surprised that I got all of these things. I feel like typing is more enjoyable with these installed. You get exactly the number of rings you need to install a full keyboard set of keys (including numpad and extra function keys). If you lose one, you will be one short. There is allowance for the bigger keys that require 2 or more attachments (ex. shift, enter, space bar, numpad).Doesn't come with extras like some of the other brands, but good value, fast shipping through Amazon. It comes in a no frills sealed re-sealable black matte bag with the company logo on it.

Applied and reapplied the thick ones, everything seems just right.
I have a mechanical keyboard that take a lot of pressure to press down on, which is great because they feel very springy and satisfying while typing but bottoming them out ended up giving my fingers cramps after prolonged use. I got the thick o-rings to shorten the travel and soften the impact while pressing keys. The first time I applied them not all my keys weren't responding but after applying and reapplying them I would eventually find that all of them work and now feel much more comfortable to press. I recommend it if you have the patience and if you won't miss "clacking" keys.

Good o-rings
These are made with very good quality construction. They are just o-rings though so be realistic in your expectations depending on what you're using them for. I use them on my mechanical keyboard at work to bring the sound level down. It doesn't make the keyboard magically silent, it simply eliminates the higher frequency clicky clacky sounds so you don't annoy your office mates. They are mostly clear so they don't interfere with backlit keycaps as much as solid color o-rings. You can still see a faint line in your backlit legends from the o-ring but it is much better than solid. They also soften the key presses a bit but minimally. Good product all around for this specific use case.

Works well with lighted keys
Most mechanical keyboard O-rings seem to be made of colored silicone. The ones I tried first were yellow, and they muddied the color of my RGB lighted keyboard. These clear silicone O-rings don't do that. The thick/soft O-rings were effective at quieting the bottoming-out sound of the MX Brown switches. The sound is a little deeper than the 3mm O-rings I tried first — rather more pleasant in my opinion.

No difference
I wanted so soften the key cap and this made absolutely no difference

Training wheels for keyboards
These are soft enough to add a bit of a mushy feel if you bottom them out. But that feel encourages you not to do so.It gives the key a little more mass and a little less resonance so that is an add. These are highly a personal preference, some people will hate them.they to order 1 of a few types before ordering a whole keyboard full of them.

Perfect for MX Blue Switches
Leaves just enough to activate, still a satisfying click, but doesn't smack the baseplate and makes my keyboard a joy to type on.
