Frisk 40158009 Scale Divider, one Size, Nylon

Had I read even some of the negative reviews given to these scale dividers I'd almost certainly never have ordered them ------ however, , I didn't read the reviews and very glad I didn't do so. These are excellent dividers, well made and very accurate, in fact of circumstances demanded, If have no hesitation in buying again.

No comprehensive dimensions in description, therefore it was bigger than needed. However it is still useful on some occasions.

I have found these scale dividers exteremely useful. They allow me a greater degree of freehand work compared to tracing, and are easier than the squaring method to produce enlarged or reduced images.

Does what it's meant to do.would of been better with smaller one.

The product is large and the finish pretty basic. The problem I have is that the screw which holds the tool at the proper angle doesn't hold so it's not good to use.

This was not bought as a toy, as described in this product review. I bought it to scale up some drawings, which with some difficulty I was able to do. It has limited scaling settings which are difficult to replicate each time it is used at the "same" setting. The points are too blunt to make the instrument really accurate and the wooden parts are too thick to allow easy use. Worst of all, I now find that the wood is warping after using the instrument for just a few days. I can't recommend this product. Even at the price it is a disappointing purchase.

easy to use and accurate .. allows rescaling and precise placement of images or designs onto other papers or canvases .. ideal for artwork etc.
