i've used other brands that are far more expensive and tbh i do not notice any difference. the scent is pleasant and not overly strong, the water that is rinsed out of the carpet after shampooing is a very satisfying grey and the carpet looks that bit fresher afterwards. the apartment gets shampooed twice a year and it's actually a pleasure to do so.

Really happy with this purchase - I use in my vax spot machine.I have previously bought brand only carpet shampoo but the value for money is fantastic with this item and I will continue to buy in future. A little goes a long waySuper easy to use and has removed all stains so far for me- so that’s the main thing! It actually makes you realise how much your carpets need cleaned.I’ve used this cleaner on my carpets, my car seats, rugs, dining chairs and sofas and brings everything up like new.I also don’t find the smell over powering but everything smells fresh.Recommend to my friends to buy also for there carpet machines too.

Big bottle is good value for money. The smell is quite pleasant and seems to clean well. Not sure how it would work on stubborn stains but am happy with the purchase

The other day I noticed my wife’s rug had a vary pungent odour.It was all matted and wiry to touch.It’s unusual as she’s usually quite a hygienic and clean person. I approached her about the pungent odour and why there seemed to be so much crumbs on it. She giggled and scoffed another cookie down her neck. “ if you’re unhappy with the smell, why don’t you do something about it” she said.So I whipped out my carpet cleaner and with the aid of a squirt of this carpet shampoo, her rug smells lovely and Matt free.It’s so clean you could eat dinner off it

I've been needing to do my carpets for ages now. But was always put off with the amount of money I've spent in the past! I bought the rug doctor in my old flat for 2 rooms and spent nearly over £50 just topping up the solution constantly! Now in a 3 bedroom house I've managed to do all 3 bedrooms including the hall way with this and still loads left over for my stairs! I used it in my Vax carpet cleaner and it's been great! My daughter's room was the worse and this is the outcome of her bedroom! Definitely recommend can't go wrong with the price!!
