Pricey, but works better than the after market batteries.

Using aftermarket batteries in the the new Canon cameras comes with warnings, and in some instances, such as my R5II, decreased functionality. So you'll want at least a couple Canon brand batteries to get the maximum function from your camera. I have a few Canon batteries for when I need maximum video capabilities, but if I'm just shooting pictures then I can use an aftermarket battery. Yes, the battery is pricey compared to the aftermarkets, but you do get more from the Canon batteries, both in charge and function. I bought these for my R5II, not sure what other cameras they work in but they work great in mine!

Better option for me than Vmounts.

These are great. I'm new to camera rig builds, and I had a Canon R5C with a vmount battery, monitor and mattebox and everything was just getting too heavy for me. So I bought a bunch of these instead and it makes things much easier for me. If you're shooting 24fps these will last quite a while. 120fps will knock the runtime down quite a bit though.

A good battery as expected from Canon

I have mixed success in buying aftermarket batteries for cameras from non-brand-name dealers. He's our genuine Cannon batteries and perform very well.

Longer lasting than the previous “H” batteries.

If you’re going to shoot a Semi-pro or Pro Canon camera, these are the latest batteries (“P”) that enhance longer image taking time. I shoot barrel racing and other sports a lot and usually have to switch batteries (The “H" ones) during barrel racing after 3 rounds of 4 groups each round. Around 40 to 50 rides altogether. WIth these newer batteries, I can get about 65 extra rides. If I spend a whole day shooting images as a nature shoot, street photography or at some botanical gardens I can fill a 128GB v90 USH II card (about 6k images with a R5 45mp camera) and another 1/2 card before the battery wears out. It’s worth the expense.

The real thing

This is the real thing and works better than aftermarket ones. My original ones had been in use for six years and got to the point where I charged them at the end of each day of shooting and carried a spare. With this new one, I took over 600 pictures on a recent trip over the course of ten days and most likely would have gotten by without a charge. I no longer needed to carry a spare, and of course charging every few days was still an option to make sure that I had plenty of power. They are a lot more expensive than aftermarket brands, and if you don't mind carrying multiple batteries and swapping, as long as a cheap battery gets you through most of the day, it might be good enough for your purposes. But if you want top quality and no regrets, go with this one.

Canon brand is more expensive, but much better

I reluctantly admit that actual Canon brand batteries are better than the aftermarket variety. I've tried the no-name batteries for four Canon cameras in recent years and had various disappointments in them: short life, no life, bad fit. I no longer even try the alternate brands. Yes, the Canon brand batteries are more expensive than I'd like, but the aftermarket batteries are just not worth the trouble.
