Great snack for the car!
(Amended from earlier…)I ordered these assorted toffees to keep in the car for when I need a little snack while on long drives or waiting in parking lots to pick up my kids from their various activities. I live in the northern USA, so the weather here varies with the seasons, and I was looking for a nice, buttery candy I could sink my teeth into, but that wouldn’t be so soft that I would have to worry about them melting or getting gooey in warmer weather. These do the job nicely, as they are not quite as soft as caramels, but still offer a rich, satisfying chew. At first I thought my assortment did not include Dark Chocolate Covered toffees, because in the batch I received the plain Chocolate flavored toffees and the Dark Chocolate Covered toffees were both wrapped in what looked to be the same red foil, so when I did my count of how many there were of each flavor I mistook them all for the plain Chocolate-flavored (non-coated) toffees. I only realized my mistake afterwards, by which point quite a few had been consumed, so here is the count, such as it was:Total: 146 piecesMilk Chocolate Eclair: 27English Creamy Toffee: 29Milk Chocolate Covered: 27Choc. flavored/Dk. Choc. Covered: 33*Banana Split Eclair: 30(*Both flavors combined)I agree that the chocolate flavored toffees could taste a little more chocolatey, but the nostalgic quality of chocolate flavoring, if memory serves, is that it does not taste much like actual chocolate at all, so I am fine with it.The banana split toffees were a fun departure from the other flavors, and not too cloyingly sweet, as I’d feared. I found the milk chocolate covered toffees to be the softest, perhaps because the chocolate coating seals in the moisture. Overall I am happy with the flavors, texture, quantity and variety of these assorted toffees, and would buy them again. :)PS: Other reviewers who wrote of having to put these far away from themselves so as to avoid eating them non-stop are right — I’d eaten 6 in the time it took me to write this review, plus had shared & eaten several more before publishing!

Old Stale Candy
Candy was old and stale. I looked it up on line and saw it had a lot of bad chemicals in it. Threw away so no one else would get.

All the same flavor not a mixture
Disappointed that I got nearly all the same toffee all red. There were 12 blue 3 plain 0 banana 0 éclair and the rest were all red!. So much for them being a variety .No problem with the taste.

Yummy!
OK, taste and texture are subjective so I won't try to convince anyone if these are good or bad.I tried this Mixed Variety after first discovering the Licorice Toffee treats by the same maker (WALKERS NONSUCH). The Licorice are still my favorite ... they are special. The flavors in the Variety are all good, to me, but not "special". My favorite in the bunch was the English Creamy Toffee (similar to a soft Werther's) . This must be a "premium" flavor as there were only nine (9) pcs. of this flavor in the mix. Bummer for me is that MY second-favorite flavor, the Chocolate Toffee (similar to a Tootsie Roll, but richer), had the second-lowest quantity in the mix, with just fifteen pcs. (15). BUT, as a random variety, I guess ya' never know whatchyer' gonna' get. A reviewer from for years ago - 2016 - got about the same overall count, but 50 pcs. of the English Toffee! The seller (R and I Jones Ltd) shipped quickly (arrived earlier than quoted expected date)My order was placed on Sept. 30, 2020. Box arrived on Oct. 10 - amazing, really! The label reads "Best before 25/06/2021", so I have about 8-months to gobble them all up ... Ha, like they's last that long!Total Count: 153 pcs., so that's about @ .18 cents.1) English Creamy Toffee (softer and more buttery) .................. ( 9 ) pcs.2) Chocolate Toffee (choclate-flavored toffee) .............................. ( 15 )3) Milk Chocolate-Covered Toffee (thin chocolate coating) ........ ( 30 )4) Dark Chocolate-Covered Toffee (as above) .............................. ( 38 )5) Milk Chocolate Eclair (teeny chocolate filling in center) ....... ( 31 )6) Banana Split Eclair (banana-flavored filling in center) .......... ( 30 )I wish there had been more of the English Toffee. I also wish there were some of the "other" flavors that I have not tried yet, like their "Treacle (molasses)", "Salted Caramel", and "Mint" in the mix ... and some Licorice would have been cool, too. I probably won't get this variety mix again, but will get more Licorice and more English Creamy, for sure. :-) I'm gonna' have to try a small bag of the Treacle at some point, too. Firmer than soft caramels, I really like these toffees!

Incredible
Very tasty and has a nice sweetness to it, creamy and chewy but not overly chewy and just right. The meltability point is well balanced and the toffee doesn’t end up sticking to your palet or teeth. Has a nice finish. I just ordered the licorice version as well and look forward to receiving it. Hopefully I won’t finish everything too soon.
